Goal
To deliver an accounting service to support the scale up of BathLab.co.uk, a fast-growing eCommerce business.
Approach
- Integration from day one – we integrated their Shopify store directly with Xero to reduce manual data entry, save time and provide an accurate real time snapshot of business performance. This was fully in the anticipation of a planned scale up.
- Supportive tax advice for the business owner – something all new business owners need to understand is how to extract money tax efficiently. We provided proactive tax advice to the business owner including supporting with payroll & dividend advice.
- Performance insight – the quarterly management accounts we share with the client monitor and track performance, allowing the business to make informed decisions about marketing spend, monitoring return levels, gross margin etc.
- Full compliance and support function – from bookkeeping, VAT returns, accounts, corporate tax, payroll. The one stop shop of accounting services we deliver helped to free up the owners time to focus on growing their eCommerce business.
Outcome
BathLab.co.uk is now well positioned as it continues its expansion. The company has experienced a 69.7% increase in annual sales and thanks to integrations the accounting remains easily scalable.
